Is there really a crisis?

Most of us feel the economic crisis in different ways. If you buy groceries every week like me, you'd feel the prices have gone up. If you buy LPG cooking gas, you'd want to cook your 1-pot meal for the whole day to even save up. How much would you spend for a popcorn and cola when you want to watch a movie? Do you still buy cappuccino or latté in any of the famous coffee houses? Do you still eat out everyday with your officemates? Did you hear about the handbag collection, shoes and hair accesories of the famous actresses?

Are you aware that a lot of Filipino families have nothing to serve on their dining table? Do you know that a lot of kids in the Philippines are begging for food? Have you ever tried skipping a meal for the cause of other people? Or would you rather go to a mall and spend for a signature shirt that you don't really need. I'm a Filipina. I'm not rich nor poor. But I feel hurt everytime I see hungry kids roaming on the street. What would you feel when you see little kids sleeping on the doorstep of an office building, while you can't get a good sleep with no aircon? I feel hurt when I see babies cry and the mother can only give them water with a little bit of sugar. It's payday.....but even if I have enough money to buy 8 to 10 more hamburgers for the hungry kids begging for food, I could not feed the world....not everyday will I have extra money to give out free burgers. How about you? What would you do to help the hungry people?
